An Ideal Indian Summer Wedding

Indian summer is endearing in some ways! India offers everything needed to have a stunning summer wedding, including beaches, farms, hill stations, and gardens. Here are some creative suggestions for organizing your “Indian Summer Wedding”!

From your “Save the Date” cards to your wedding favours, we advise you to infuse the lively atmosphere of the summer season into every tiny detail of your wedding. Although it would be more practical to choose an inside location given how hot and humid Indian summers can be. However, we believe that a day wedding in the summer is best held in the sunny and wonderful outdoors. Simply make sure that you have plans in place to avoid the heat. There are several options for doing it.

  • If you’re thinking about having an outdoor wedding in the summer, we advise making a careful site selection. The ideal location would be a hill station, beach, tea estate, or winery.
  • Coolers and mist fans will undoubtedly keep your visitors comfortable.
  • Consider serving chilled beverages to your visitors, such as Jal Jeera, Aam Panna, Sangria, Mojitos, and lemonade. Incorporate tropical flowers into your centrepieces to keep them interesting.
  • Select a monochrome, pastel, or vibrant and unique colour scheme. Tangerine is the color of the season, so do all you can to incorporate it into your decor!
  • Make your menu basic and stay away from fried and greasy foods. Include light barbecued meals and a salad bar.
  • A full-fledged ice cream bar, sorbets, and granitas are a must! What about bringing in a coconut seller who can set up shop and serve customers? If you’re having an outdoor wedding, we highly recommend this because it’s a hit at many of our weddings.
  • Additionally, offering cold soup on your menu as an alternative to traditional soup is a wonderful idea. Use creative garnishes to spruce up your mocktails and drinks.
  • Provide hand fans, set up sheer fabric canopies to shade visitors from the sun, and stock parasols in a basket for them to choose from are some unique additions that would both make your guests feel easy and comfortable and will also make a great picture prop.
  • Last but not least, consider providing personalized wedding gifts like delicious mango pickles or handmade jams. These are sure to impress your guests.

We hope our summer wedding ideas, will soothe your guests and make them feel better.
